New CZ peep sights
« on: March 23, 2008, 06:13:31 PM »
I was reading a review of a 452 scout wherein the author said he intended to install the new CZ peep on same.  That part of CZ USA is down so I wondered if anyone knows anything.  Particularly interested in anything avavilable for the 527.  Also, my departed 527 wouldn't feed fn lead handloads from the magazine.  Is the feed issue normal and is it readily fixed?

There are some little issues with the magazines and feeding that can be solved.   You can do a search to find out about this.

I put  a Williams rimfire peep on my kid's scout. But I had to cut down the stock on the left side below the rear bridge to accommodate the vertical adjustment slide of the sight. I didn't keep the site on long as the boys preferred a scope but the peep worked ok.  I'm trying to remember if I needed to change the front sight - its been several years now and I just don't recall what was needed.  I think I had to mount the peep farther forward than I like and it made it a little difficult to use.
