CALL IN TO BLOCK COOK COUNTY GUN BAN!

The Illinois State Rifle Association (ISRA) has sent out an alert regarding a telephone poll in Cook County where callers can vote for or against gun-control ordinances; it's important to note that you do not need to be a resident of Cook County to vote. According to ISRA, the Cook County Board is attempting to justify passage of gun-control ordinances designed to close all gun shops and ban and confiscate most guns owned by citizens of the county. ISRA says here's what callers should do: Call 1-312 -603-6400 and select Option 1 when prompted. At the next prompt, select Option 1 again. Then, when prompted to vote on the gun-control ordinance, press 2. It's important to let all your gun-owning friends know about this and have them vote too; also, post this alert to your Internet sites and blogs.

Can't you see how wonderful this would be??  All the nice Chicago hoods will line up and turn in all their stolen firearms.  I wonder what idiot dreamed up this idea.  They'll turn Cook county into a criminals paradise.  When are they going to realize wherever they relax gun control, crime decreases.  It's been proved all over this country, and all over the world for that matter.  How long is this poll running?  I'm still getting people together on it.

Here's another of my after thoughts.  The truly scary thing about this poll is that they ask yes or no, not the facts or reason behind your vote.  All the idiots will do is total up the yeas and nays and base their conclusion on the total vote.  Common sense or logic will play no part in it.  I guess I'm glad I'm getting old and won't be around to see the rest of our rights go down the tubes.  I'm sorry for my grandkids and the world we have left them.
