Remington 7600: Trigger Pull & Adjustment
« on: March 09, 2008, 07:00:24 AM »
Does anyone know what the average lbs. of trigger pull is on a 7600 and can the trigger pull be adjusted?

I was told that the triggers on pump and semi-auto rifles cannot be adjusted.

Can you do them like a remington 700 and with a little monkeying with a screwdriver have the rifle go off when the bolt is closed. The answer to this is NO.

Can a gunsmith work over the trigger group to a nice crisp 3lbs YES

You can measure the trigger pull with some fish scales or buy a trigger scale. The pulls vary from gun to gun. Brownell's offers a trigger kit that you can install which will improve the trigger cycle on the Remington 7400 and 7600.

I'd go with the New England Company, but if that doesn't work out, and you're still in a bind Allen Timney in CA does a nice enough job.

What does North Country Outfitters and how long is the turn around?  Thanks.

I was charged $30 plus shipping. And turnaround was about a week.
