Marlin XL7

Just read the article on the Marlin XL7 in the American Rifleman....according to them it looks like a great value..If I remember it shot 150 gr .9 inch group at 100yd...5 shot group..And for $329...? anybody seen one or got to shoot one?? Thanks Drop

  I've read three articals on it and all were rave reviews.  Marlin used to have the MR7 It also had good reviews but failed to sell well.  I hope this one does better.

  Very interesting rifle, it has a brl nut on it just like a savage and a trigger assembly that looks like the savage trigger. There is a place called gunsatcost.com that has the blued one for $ 275 and the camo one for $ 305. Looks like they might give the stevens 200 a run for the money. I like to see that, make them sweat a little. Now if they would make them in a 9.3 x 62 or 35 whelen and with quality brl band type open sights.  They would sell them faster than they could make them.
