Dear Members and Gunners,

                     Due to the heavy rain on 6 January, the shoot was canceled , wet powder just will not  ignite. This was contrary for the shoot this month, extremely hot and humid, hopefully the winter will bring cooler days. We have two functions to attend nl. The Fort Nottingham Highland Games, Natal Midlands on the 29 March 2008 and  The Ladysmith Siege Weekend ie  The Swartkop  Challenge, Ladysmith, on the  5 & 6 April 2008.

Our visitors this month was Daniel, and shoot a 22 with the club cannon, well done.
Don Hamilton managed an aggregate of 90 for the shoot and the Friend trophy.

AT THE SHOOTS, IF YOU USE 60 GRAINS THE COST IS R35.00 AND FOR 90 GRAINS, R40.00.

DANG!

March 2nd.   So close and yet SO FAR!

Yes  March 2nd.  But it is so close so long!  This will be last shoot, sadly. I have really enjoy the monthly shoot.  The wife goes to the range also  and sits with the wives and they do what ever it is that wives do. This will be our first good by as we get ready to head back to America.  Darn  allergies where is the kleenex.

I might be down in the Congo (DRC) for a while in the not too distant future (July-Sept?), although it looks to be quite a road trip between there and y'alls shoots.
