Got my 17M2 barrel for my Sportster!
« on: February 19, 2008, 03:35:32 PM »
I got my Sportster back today with the new 17M2 bull barrel installed!  ;D ;D
It took 3 weeks from the day that I sent it off to get it back. Not a bad
turnaround. Good job H&R! I also got a regular pallet wood stock and
forend for it. All that is left is to get a new Mueller APV and a set of
medium Burris Signature Zee rings. Life is Good! ;D ;D ;D

You are going to love that .17Mach2 barrel for targets and small varmints SM Bob, they all seem to shoot just great, all in one ragged hole at 50 yards is not unusual for them, have fun with it!!!....<><....:)

Roger that! I have a Marlin 917M2 that will shoot 1 hole 5 shot groups at 50 yards with Eley 17gr V-Max.
I prefer the 17M2 to the 17HMR. It's a lot easier on the wallet and it gets the job done on small game!
