Hello, I have a 6 inch 686-3 and I am thinking I would rather have a 4 inch barrel, I run an EDM shop and I was wondering if I can just wire the end of my barrel off to the Length I want, or is there a round sleeve inside the barrel that will not look like its one PC after I cut it? I will put a wiegand sight on after I change the barrel length. Or would it be better to just have Smith and Wesson rebarrel it to what I want? Will they put the tapered barrel on it like they have on the performance center guns?
