Gun shop round
« on: February 11, 2008, 02:17:31 PM »
Well I went gun shopping Saturday did not find many handi's. I found a 280 with cinn. lam stocks and a cheap BSA scope asking $250 but it was in kinda bad shape it need some serious TLC . Locked up good and tight bore looked ok but need a good cleaning and slight rust spots and the barrel and frame. I asked would he take less and he would not budge. I did also found a brand new 7mm-08 for $240 almost got that one but I was looking for a 30-06 got a little project in mind for a 30-06. Gonna go hit some more this Saturday if I don't have to work. Keep ya'll posted ;)

I just saw a nice 30-06 wood stock with scope rail and rings with a leather shell holder slipped on and it was $169.00.  Larry

I think the west coast is cheaper on these things, I can get all the NEF shotguns I want for $69.00 each and the rifles usually are usually in the range of $149 to $179.  I got two 58 cal Huntsman ML's for $100 once.  Larry
