I paid $550 w/tax for a T3 Lite SS 338 WM at Sportsman's Warehouse, the blued version was about $100 less, but they've gone up since I bought mine in October. Bud's doesn't have a 308, but they do have a 30-06 for comparison pricing. Since all T3s are long action regardless of chambering, you may want to reconsider the chamber choice, that affected my decision.

I've gotten prices from a few dealers and the blued version seems to be around $479 and the S.S. about $570. There are a lot of dealers marking them up a lot higher so be careful who you deal with. Don't tell the dealers, but they could sell them for a lot more, they are great rifles.

Thanks for the replies fellers. Tim, could you please explain to me how they are all long actions?? I thought the .308 was a short action round.

Thanks, for your help guys.

Easy, they use the same length action for all of them, a long action, one size fits all, regardless if it's chambered in a short or long action round, they just use a different magazine stop. That's why unless you need the .308, the 30-06 will weigh the same and be a bit more versatile, and another option in availability.

Buds are normally as cheap as anyone, I have dealt with them a lot, my wife believes too much  ;D If it is not listed on their website, they can still get it for you. I called them for my 243, they ordered it for me and it cost like $10 more. Gunbroker sometimes has some real good deals too, always worth a quick search.
