I put a scope on it & the eye alinement is bad have to cock my neck way up ! What stock is best for a scoped gun. The see thru rings/mounts don't help to start with they just help to toss more things out of alignment.
you will be more accurate with the scope as close to the barrel as you can, plus it will be better to see thru.
check the add here for stocks on this site gun stocks inc. they have some nice rollovers etc that have a higher
cheek piece etc to get you up to the scope better than a plain factory stock.

If you need the tall rings for the scope to clear the barrel or the hammer then you have a couple of options beside replacing the stock.  There are lace on cheek pads and some that glue/screw on that come in different heights to get good alignment.  I have used both, and prefer the glue/screw on ones.  I can't recall the brand, but I got mine at Gander Mountain, so they should be available at most gun stores and mail order as well.

Good luck!

If you want to go with a custom stock do a web search and you will find several. My personal favorite is the STINGER STOCK from Gunstocks Inc. They offer several different styles for the Encore and Contender.

This pic is an Encore with a STINGER STOCK, I cut the finger grooves into the grip and give it a satin finish.

You can buy a bear tooth stock raising kit.
