Sako 75/85 owners in 260/6.5x55/708, how does yours shoot?

I have a Finnlite in 708.  About 1 inch 5 shoot group is about the best I have been able to get.  Most would say that is good but my Finnlite in 270 will put 5 shots in ONE HOLE.  I have a CZ 550 in 6.5x55 and it will do about .75 5 shot groups.

That 7/08 a 75 or 85?  What are your 3 shot groups like?  Loads?  Thanks.

Both my 708 and 270 are 75s.  Here are a few loads I tried and I only do 5 shot groups.

40g Reloader 15 120g hornady - fair results
45g H380 140g Barnes xxx - Best results (aol 2.839)  little less than 1 inch
47g H4350 140g Barnes xxx - fair
47g Win 760 140g Barnes xxx - good around 1 inch.

I have A sako75 stainless synthetic in 708. This rifle is one of the best factory rifle I have ever owned. Very well made and very accurate with A great trigger. I bought the rifle for hunter class high power rifle silhouette shooting.It will shoot under3/4inch all day@100 yards.We shoot out to 500 meters (547 yards) at rams. I became A... AAA shoter with this rifle and shot one master score with it. I use reloader 15 and Imr 4064 powder  sierra 168 and 130 matchkings. Now to answer your question the rifle shoots very very good  Have A great Day  Anthony G.

        to answer your question .... 5 shot groups. I have been reloading and shooting for 45 years. I use rem brass that I seperate by weight then I debur the flash holes uniform the primer pockets and neck resize. I have tested the load on the bench many times. cronographed and found reloader 15 with 168 sierra's and fed 210 match very consistant. varget and 4064 are also good. The rifle feeds very good from the detachable mag. More than A few silhouette shooters use the sako 75 for hunter and standard class. I am A REM fan and own many rem 700 from the 1960 .. 70 and 80"s however if i were to buy another rifle it would be (if I could find) A sako 75         God Bless America
