HOW DO I GO ABOUT GETTING A NEW BARREL ON MY NEW H&R!!!

I got a H&R 45/70 for Christmas. i love it..and i heard you can change the barrels out on it. i want the 204 fluted bull barrel? what procedure do i go about doing for this. and what is the price range. also how accurate will this baby be? thanks in advance

well there are two basic options.
one would be to visit the NEF website, download the form for the barrel accessory program, and send it your reciever and order whatever barrel you want.
another option would be to buy a like new barrel from a member here and fit it to your reciever yourself ( you need some knowhow to do this )
either way, the FAQ's sticky will anwer alot of your questions about this. as will the very knowledgeable folks on here ( im not really one of those guys )
you can fit a barrel yourself, its not that hard. you can order a new barrel from NEF, that basically it.
