Well I got to shoot my new Handi today. I lined it up a tiny bit low at 25 yards. It shot pretty good. Then i took an empty water jug with a little 2" by 2" green label on it to 100 yards and hit in the middle of the green. After that i took a Sunny D jug that was full of water to 150 yards and busted it. I was very satisfied. O ya i have a question, is it true that if you line a 270 up a 1/4 or 1/2 inch low at 25 yards it will be dead on at 100 yards? Thanks

i dont know about it being DEAD ON at 100 but it might get you cloase. the only way to know it is on at 100 is to shoot it at 100.

I have found it to be more like 2-3" high at 100yards..with hand loads...and about 1-1/2" high with factory standard velocity stuff out of my 270's..

Congratulations!

The .270 is a fine caliber in the Handi. It was never very high on my list of "must have" calibers, but turned out to be one of the most accurate out of the box calibers I have.

Winchester Power Point and Federal Power Shok 130's do very well in mine.

Merry Christmas.    :D
