I'm wondering if Savage is no longer making the 12 VLP in single shot version. I've been trying to order one in 223. I checked with some gun stores in my area, they contacted the distributors they work with, but none had the 12 VLP single shot anymore. They (distributors) had other single shot rifles like the LRVP and F Class, but not the VLP.
The Savage website still shows the VLP single shot as an option, but their website is know for not being always up to date.
Anyone knows?
If Savage is not making it anymore, I may settle for a repeater with a single shot tray, but a true single shot would be better.
