New P229 Upper

I just picked up a used P229.
It was too good of a deal to pass up.  Used but only 250 rounds by a writer who attended a CCW class. a hair over 600 out the door with three mags.
The gun is in 9mm.  I like 9 but the gun was designed for either .357 Sig or .40
My .40 is currently at my uncles, Gave his son Browning pump for Christmas last year and he left my parents house with my Sig Pro.  So I have lots of ammo but nothing to launch it out of till I see him again.
Does anyone know if I can just order a whole slide, recoil spring, guide rod, and barrel?  The barrel and the Mags are the easy part.

Never mind I heard back from Sig today.
Even if I found an upper it would not work.
The 9 and the 40/ 357 frames are different in the mag well and a .40 mag would not insert.
