does anyone have one or know anything about them, are they a good rifle any info will help, Thanks, Papaman. Well no one seems to have one, I bought one, so, I guess I will let you know how it performs if anyone is interested. Give me a week or so, the weather in central Oregon isn't very good at the present time. We went coyote hunting a few days ago and at about 8:30 AM it was 9 degrees F. Well we had a nice day so I went to the range to try out the Rem. 715 Sportsman. I bought it in 7mm08, after sighting the scope in it showed pretty good potential. I might have to fine tune my load a little, but, I 'll shoot it some more first, it wasn't that bad, at 100 yds. it shot about a 1 3/4" to 2" group, I am sure it will shoot at least a 1" group with a little work. I did hit a 200 yd. 12" steel gong. The rifle it self is not like a Rem. 700, of course, it is less expensive. The action is a short throw and some what stiff, just needs broken in I am guessing. The trigger is pretty good and fully adjustable. The stock is synthetic and not bad. Barrel is 22" and matte blue or black whatever you'd call it and has a target crown. Over all I like it. I think it will turn out to be a good hunting rifle, the price is good. FYI I have a Nikon Prostaff 3x9x40 BDC reticle mounted on it. Nice scope !
