Just recieved my new Rem. 7600 in .35 rem. ,am planning on Bear and mybe Elk hunting. What would you guys recommend. I'm thinking about the new Bushnell 3200, 2-7 firefly. Not sure if I should get low profile, see thru rings,or just what.......thanks for the info.....

Suds,

Bushnell is not making the Elite 3200 2-7 with the firefly reticle yet. If you are really interested in the firefly reticle, I would recommend going with the Elite 3200 1.5-4.5x32.  I don't know about other people, but I am not keen on the see-thru mounts. In my opinion, you lose a lot of accuracy when using them.   If you want to use your iron sights also, I would go with a quick release mounting system.

As always, I agree with Jon.

The Elite 3200 1.5x-4.5x-32mm Firefly would be the way to go with your .35.  I have this scope and I love it.  The optics are not as great as the 4200, but they are still very good.  AND, the Firefly reticle really works.  The reticles are a little thick, but that doesn't really bother me.

As for mounts, "see through" mounts just don't do it for me - get quick detachables - either Warne Maxima QDs or Leupold QDs.
