My pup's first chukars ...
« on: November 17, 2007, 09:13:35 AM »
I spent a couple of days in Eastern Oregon hunting chukars with my 7-month old setter.  Here's a few pics.  Out of the three that we got he pointed, broke on the shot and retrieved two.  The third he walked by and they came up behind us.  We still got one of them and he made a good retrieve.

I think he's a keeper!

Hi Don,

I just noticed your post from December.  Sorry, didn't mean to ignore you.  Yes, this is one of Larry's pups.  I've posted enough on ifish that people are probably tired of hearing about it!  He is doing great.  How about yours?  How old?  How are they doing?

Best,

Glenn

That is a good start.  You have really got something there.  Just keep on taking her out and she will make your best dog yet.
