Savage Alaskan Guide Gun in .375
« on: November 13, 2007, 09:07:49 AM »
I happened to click on YouTube and there was a short video of a person shooting a Savage (116 possibly) Alaskan Guide Gun.  It looked like a good investment but I suspect it was a limited run made for some distributor(s) in Alaska.  Which makes sense as they have more Grizzlies and Kodiaks than where I live (Maryland).

Anybody have any experience with one of these?

I had one in 458 Win Mag, stainless steel.  Well built and a good shooter.  The muzzle brake turned on/off.  Reasonably priced.
