Who makes Midland firearms and of what quality are they?? Are they similar to Parker Hale rifles?
Any info would be appreciated.

Gibbs/and some association with Parker Hale are kinda close from what the blue book says, Gibbs has a Midland 2100/ a 2600/ a 2700/ and a 2800 model in their line of rifles, supply a little more info and will try to get you in the ball park, value is in the $335 to $360 range for a 100% condition speciman.  HTH   JIM

Hi There,

Midland was an old English gun company which mainly made shotguns. I believe it was after WW2 that the company was brought by Parker-Hale. The Midland line of rifles was made in Birmingham by Parker-Hale and the bolt is based on the Springfield 03. Gibbs got involved somewhere in the late period but as far as I am aware never made any of the rifles only sold what P-H made.

Midland rifles used the same barrels as the other P-H models the action of the Midland is different than the M98 action than the P-H rifles used. Stocks are of a different style.
