Contender firing pin module
« on: December 12, 2002, 04:17:26 AM »
It appears that the firing pin module in the breech face of my Contender is removeable.  Due to a highly accurate Bullberry ML barrel the breech face in a ring around the firing pin has taken some wear and actually burned a slight crater and removed a little metal.  Having no problems in shooting any of my barrels, but am interested in replacing this module.  Is it removeable/replaceable?  Where can I get another one?
Be honest with yourself.  Can you guarantee you would hit a paper plate at 250 yards...100 yards...50 yards?  Then you have no business replacing the plate with a live animal.

you must have shot that m.l. barrel quite a lot. I have one that i have had for about a yeat and fired several 100's of rounds trough it and my contender is fine. I got this barrel just for hunting so it will never have as many rounds fired trough it as mo "play-a-round" barrels will
WHat load are you using with your barrel?
