New to Handi Rifles
« on: November 05, 2007, 04:56:18 AM »
I just picked up a 7 08mm handi and am wondering how long one of these will last, and how many shots can I run through before she gets worn out?
I take real good care of my guns

Thanks

Unless you are really young and you shoot 1000's of rounds a year it will probably out last you. Break it in as described in the FAQ's section and keep it relatively clean you are good to go for a lifetime.

Throat erosion can kill a barrel before it's time. Keep the shots timed out so that the barrel never over heats and it will last for a 2K shots or more. If you shoot one shot after the other you can burn one up in a day. :o
