I bot the Smith 386 sc Mountain Lite 7 shot 357 magnum revolver in early 2007.  I've been loading and shooting 180 grain Hornady's over the maximum amount of Vihtavouri N-110. The gun handles very well and doesn't have the recoil of my Smith 44 magnum 5" with full loads. The carry weight of the gun is excellent. I had a Walther PPK that I sold to buy this gun. I found it best when shooting it to grip the gun...."lightly" is the only way I can describe it. I shoot it (as I do all my handguns) with a 2 hand hold. If I put a really "firm" grip on this gun, like I do on my 44 magnums, the gun will kind of "shake" in my hand because of the lightweight and my firm grip. So, I lighten my grip and it shoots where I point. I like this gun a lot and it's one that I would not part with.
