CZ 20 ga Woodcock gets its first work out
« on: October 28, 2007, 02:05:53 AM »
Took the Woodcock out on the opening day of quail/pheasant season. It had only been shot a few times at clay targets but I had it for some time now

This shotgun fits me better than most O/Us and although the fit was similar to my Onyx I seem to make more hits with it...

The Woodcock was a delight to carry through the field and I liked all aspects of this shotgun however once it did not come off safety??? Not sure if I accidental had the selector lever stuck in between the two or what??? Other than that it was an awesome day out with two of my sons who BTW enjoyed this O/U as much as I did...

The only big problem I have is that when I traded my Huglu 12 ga for this CZ 20 ga I was actually wanting my first ever 28 ga and fell for the CZ 20 ga at a gun show... probably better that I did for the intended purpose however I still have a 28 ga itch that needs to be scratched someday!!!

:D   Hey glwenzl:   Aren't those Woodcocks pretty, especially in the 20GA.    Wish my pocketbook was as big as my heart.   I'd like to have one of those myself.   Congrats on the fine outing with your sons.  I know what'cha mean by that ole itch.  Funny how it keeps movin round.
Enjoy your rights to keep and bear arms.
