I believe that what used to be Colt rifles are now NULA. New Ultra Light Arms and they may be able to find a stock or parts for you.

[Anyone tell me anything about it?]

IIRC, Colt issued them in both .270 & .30-06 for only a few years.  They were actually manufactured at Saco Defense Systems.  2,000 were made, but only 500 or so sold by Colt, before Colt recalled them for a bolt/firing pin defect.  Saco refused to ship the remaining 1500 to Colt, supposedly due to non-payment, instead returning them to ULA.

The founder/inventor of the Ultra Light Arms Co (ULA), Melvin Forbes, closed ULA & later opened under New Ultra Light Arms Co (NULA), claiming that the recall was a bunch of B.S. - an excuse/CYA for the poor money management of Colt Mfg's management.

They made them in more then just 270 & -06, I had one 7mm Mag and the guns ote down the road has one too. I also have heard of one's being chambered in 300 Win Mag. Nice rifles, just not for me.
