Took 45LC to range today to try loads with RCBS 300 SWCGC.
Sized .454
Starline brass
Fed primer
22gr imr4227 one hole. opened up some with 23gr and a lot with 24gr.
26gr RL7 1 1/2"
20gr. 2400 shows some promise.
Unfortunately I only had five rounds of each and I shot at 25 yds to see if I could hit the paper. Will load more and go to 50 & 75 yds now that I know they are worth the effort.

Were you able to chronograph your rifle? What kinda speeds were you seeing?
How easy was the rifle to shoot, trigger pull, sighting, recoil etc. ?
