CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE I CAN PURCHASE BOLTS AND SCREWS FOR MY ENCORE. I HAVE A 209X50 BARREL AND FOREND, GOT A HEAVY BARREL 22-250 ON ORDER AND NEED A RIFLE FOREND. I ALSO NEED STOCK BOLTS. CAN I BUY THESE FROM A DEALER? I'M NEW TO T/C'S AND KINDA BOUGHT THIS STUFF IN THE WRONG ORDER. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.

You will find that Thompson Center's best feature is its customer service. Simpy to to their site, find their Email address and drop them a note telling you what you need - they will normally send it directly to your home free of charge. They are good people to work with. Enjoy your new toy.......

i went to lowes in the hardware and they have all the bolts and screws, regular or stainless, that you need. i bought some long ones for my fore end so i could float the barrel. if you have one you can go in and match it easily.

the fore end screws for the contender are #10-32 machine screws. i don't know about the encore. someone in here can probably tell you if they are the same.

Encore forend screws are 8X40 and hard to find in a hardware store. Get them from TC. I always order the long ones and grind them to fit. You can get screw blanks and a die from Brownells, but the screw blanks are soft.
