copper jacketed slugs
« on: October 05, 2007, 03:48:33 AM »
I have no experience in slug guns; rifle state.

now to the point i purchased a bunch of swaging equipment
and it included a jacketed slug set up.

has any one here ever used a jacketed slug in a riffled shotgun bore?

what were the results?

does any one that reloads shotgun slugs think there would be enough intrest in these to learn to make them?

thanks for your input!

Remington makes copper jacketed slugs. I shoot them in my Ithaca Deerslayer with a custom Shaw rifled barrel. They are very accurate and will hold 1.25" groups at 100 yards.
