IMC2 Romanian .22LR trainer

I just purchased one of these rifles.  I liked it because the safety is similar to the one that I use for deer hunting.  Has anyone ever heard of this or have any information on it.  I can't seem to find anything.  It has 1984 stamped on the barrel so I believe that is the year of manufacture.

Thanks for the information.  I checked out the web sites and I will be ordering the manual and getting more info on the rifle.  Looking forward to doing some plinking and small game hunting with it.
