Sidekick 12 & 20

I wish NEF would offer muzzleloading shotgun barrels for the Sidekick.

We have been wishing for muzzleloading shotgun barrels for several years, they haven't made any since the old H&R Huntsmans of the '70's. Maybe someday, but it seems they would rather import guns than build them lately.

Kinda like the camo turkey shotguns with the fixed full choke when they make choke tube models, don't make any sense.

The reason they made the sidekick in the first place was to have a muzzleloader only rifle that they could sell without going through all the standard firearm rules. NEF did make the Huntsman for some time but apparently there was not enough demand to keep both the Huntsman and the Sidekick. If you want a break barrel switch barrel rifle you will either have to find an old Huntsman or go with the CVA version. I have an old Huntsman that I found on a gun rack for reasonable and made it mine quick. It may not be my favorite muzzleloader but it is likely the one I like the best for the money. My Whites were more money and the first Omega I bought was expensive. The other option is to buy a shotgun and send in for a muzzleloading barrel. I know that does not help the sidekick owners but that is the way to do it now.

keith lewis he ment a muzzle loading shotgun. that would classify under 'muzzle loader a non ffl firearm' like the knight muzzle loading shotgun. knight and t/c makes guns with interchangeble barrels

Does Knight makes guns with interchangeable barrels?

Shotgun??? You sure about that? All I have seen or read about were rifles. I have handled the rolling block, no thanks.

I would not be surprised to see a shotgun barrel for the Rolling Block as the barrel can be removed from the action with one bolt. I have a KRB7 and was pleasently surpised to see the ability to remove the barrel.
