forend and stock hardware question
« on: June 08, 2003, 07:17:33 PM »
Ok, I posted this on another site and also on gbo's tc pistola forum and didn't get any anwers so I'm hoping to get one here.  I know it's a dumb question  , but it's one I feel I need to know.

I see all these stocks and forearms for T/C Encore(s) on eBay all the time. Some of them say they come with screws for the forearm and a bolt for the stock, some don't. What exactly does a regular stock and forearm need to work right?  I don't have anyone to ask but you all and haven't been able to find it on the net. Thanks for any replies.

Matt

Just so you know, I bought a stock and forearm off ebay a while back (I don't have the ''gun'' yet, but it's coming!!) and it has some sort of bolt(but it doesn't seem to stick out much) in that cavity in the stock and came with 2 screws(also, don't seem to stick out much) and only one washer for the forend..what else do I need? Thanks!  :D

Looks to me like you have everything you need. Should work just fine. Screws can't stick out to far else they will bottom out before they tighten up.

forend and stock hardware question

i had the same problem when i got my new stock. the bolt on the pistol grip wouldn't go through the stock far enough. luckily i found just what i needed in my junk bolts. also, i needed some longer bolts and washers to free float the barrel. i took my forearm bolt to lowes and got some longer stainless bolts and washers in the hardware department. i got alot of different sizes so i'd have plenty to work with. so if you need longer bolts or screws, lowes or home depot will have just what you need.
