Does a brand new 12bvss have a flat or round reciever?

Does a brand new 12bvss have a flat or round reciever?  I just ordered one today and need to get a scope mount for it.  (Don't tell my wife).

All of the more recent Savage rifles I've seen are round, I think they did away with the "flat" as a cost-cutting move. mark.

Current production Savage (Accutrigger) and Stevens are round. Unless you ordered from a place with some Old stock, it should be Round. ~Ace~
