I'm not sure if i posted this before it's been a long time since I ran them through the die.
this spring I picked up some .308 brass from the range took it home ran it through the full length .243 sizer from the resizing this leaves the necks very thick, they will not eject/extract from the chamber,I've tried chucking them in the lee cartridge holder that you use for trimming and running a fine file accross the neck,which works,but is very slow and frustrating

...so long story short if you're looking to do this be prepared to spend more time than it's worth or invest in a neck turning tool.
The neck turning tool will cost about what 200 empty cartridges would cost,which would last me quite a while in a single shot handi-rifle.
Although it's good to know how to do, if brass ever get's scarce. I think for now I'll just buy new stuff!
