Shot the CZ82........
« on: September 08, 2007, 03:28:00 AM »
What a buy the cz82 really is....I love it....its my new carry gun too.  With the 12rd mag it takes a longtime to go empty too.  I was pinging rocks on the berm at 35yds. using wolf 9mm mak ammo.  The cz82 is flawless!!!! For only $199.

The cz82 is definitely a nice firearm. I'd love to get one myself.  ;)

Nice gun, I fired one at the range a while back, it is a great defensive pistol, easy to carry, and of fair power for personal defense, great accuracy, and very dependable.   Maybe I can add one to the collection soon.

Another great little carry pistol, but with a much smaller capacity is the Polish P-64.  They have gone up since I purchased mine, but I think it is the best $99. pistol I ever purchased.

Any new CZ82 owners out there?

What a buy the CZ82 is and what a carry gun.  I thought the little 9mm mak round would be a little less than the 9mm luger.  The 9mm mak round barks too.  With 12 rds in the mag and 1 in the pipe thats 13rds of 9mm in a smaller package over my CZ85 with 17rds.  Its much lighter too. The CZ pistols are well made too.

my cz82 will shoot those 1 hole groups at 25 yds 24 rounds resulted in a hole that measured 1&1/4 inches across its widest point the trigger is so sweet its hard to believe it is mil issue. if your going to reload the bullet dia. is 10 ths. bigger than 9mm luger.( I just knew that setting my 9x19 dies down a bit was too easy lol)

Going to mail my FFL to SOG today.  The gal said it takes them a week to process ffl's so looks like it will be April before I get to try my CZ-82 out!  Whats the deal on dies?  9x18mm dies do or do not work?

Have fun!

the 9x 18 dies work but when i got my first Makarov i thought i could just adjust my 9x19 dies down a bit and use them but there is a difference in diameter so that plan went down in flames.
