Customizing a Martini Enfield .303 Rifle any suggestions?

I just pulled out my Martini Enfield .303 Rifle any suggestions on customizing?  I think I want to keep it 303 Brit. because the story the action tells, but that is not set in stone.  What about stock, any suggestions?

If it original and in decent condition I`d leave it ALONE! These are getting hard to come by in other than beaters. If it`s "in crisis" [and it sounds like it isn`t] then there are several places that make good custom stocks. Notably Royal Arms in Montana and Trebone in Idaho. There are others but those are two I have used extensivly over the years and have been treated well. Remember when altering the stocks that sights are a possible problem so think ahead! Good luck.

If it original and in decent condition I`d leave it ALONE!  The problem is it's a piece of junk now.  I have three thing or so I can do with it.  1. leave it a lone and hang it on a wall.  2. re-barrel or sleeve the barrel I have and find a stock for it and shoot it.  3.  make a custom out of it and shoot it.   That's what I think my choices are.  I could stay with 303 Brit, 577/450 to keep it true to it's history.  Or go nuts and customize it to the max.
