308 fluted barrel?

i was at one of the locals here today and saw a stainless savage 308 synthetic stocks and a long heavy fluted barrel
had the accu trigger on it
i have never owned a savage rifle
anyone have one like this?
what kind of accuracy can i expect?
any info would be appreciated

I have an older model 12, pre accu-trigger, and it shoots well within a MOA all the way to 800yds during an F-class match. I was going to try 1000 but ran out of elevation in my scope.
