Ooops!...I did it again!

...while scanning kittery trading posts website i found that they had a whitetails unlimited 45-70

.....and i put it on layaway 930 this morning!

C.W.:   It only gets worse, today, i traded a little .308 surplus ammo to the local gun smith for the balance i owed him on a second hand 45-70 handi rifle with synthetic stock and foreend and the old fashioned screw adjusted sights......now just a buffalo classic and i will have 4

TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Thursday AM I PP'd 125 for a 308 barrel....

Today I sent another 100 for a 30-30 barrel and I just threw a bid at a 32" 45-70 barrel!!!!

 Last count I was over 30 handis!!!! ::) :o ::) ;D ;D

Andrewtheelder38, don't you just love/hate the KTP used gun website!!! I saw a similar W.U. 45/70 on the site a week or so ago and mentioned here, another member said he would love to have it and when I went back the next day to post the info the gun was gone (of course). There was a Survivor .45/.410 there in 99% for $110 that I was going to pick up my next time up to camp. I checked for it today after seeing your post about the 45/70 and now Survivor is gone also!!! Someday I will learn to jump when I see a gun there I want and not wait until I go by the place, this has happened to me to many times now. I remember looking at an original NEF .357 Max with a Laminated stock set for $135.00 and going home to think about it, of course it was gone. The same about a nice original 45/70 rolling block with a slightly shortened barrel, the price was right, but I thought about it, again it was gone when I returned, then there was the H&R Huntsman in great condition for $90.00. I could on and on but it's getting hard to see the keyboard through the tears....<><....:(

MSP Ret, I when I saw this thread I decided to do a websearch and find their site. I added it to my favorites. Gonna have to watch this one from time to time. ;)

hey msp retired.....yeah it is an awful thing to look at their website sometime....ok, most times, because more oftener than "not" they have something I want but the bank account is in the "empty" zone......so I only look there when i actually can phone that day and put a deposit on something.....stinks being poor some times.....
