First things first --- thank you Mac11700 for stepping up. I have had a ultra-light .243 Howa for about 4 years and love it. The barrel heats up pretty quick, but other than that it shoots really great. My rifle loves Black Hills Gold with the 95 grain Nosler BT. I should say loved because that round is no longer available. They have switched to Hornady 95 grain SST's. Have any of you used the SST bullet? I bought a box, but down here in Louisiana it has been too hot to enjoy the rifle range. Any comments on the SST accuracy and/or performance on deer would be helpful. Also I have a powerful urge to adopt a .308 Howa with the new overmolded stock. Any one own one? What do you think about it?
