Can the trigger pull be lightened on a BL-22?

My son and daughter each have a BL-22.  They are very nice rifles but the trigger pull is very heavy.  Has anyone had the trigger pull decreased to a less weight?
I don't think I want to mess with it myself.  I just want to know if it can be done by a pro GS hopefully in the Fort Worth, TX area. ???

If the rifles are new I would shoot a few bricks of ammo thru them. My BL-22's trigger did get better the more it was fired

The rifles are not new one is a 1979 and the other is 1997.
I bought them second hand a couple of years ago.

I would also like to know if the bl trigger can be lightened. I recently bought one and the trigger is at 5 lbs. now. I would like to get it down to around 2-3 lbs. if possible.
