What happens or doesn't happen if the lapping charge moves the bullet through the bore too fast? In trying different charges to just get lapped bullets out of the bore, a bunch of them were too fast till I got one stuck in the forcing cone. By the way, I recovered one of the bullets that burrowed about 1/2" into pine bark. It was slightly deformed but the engraving was clear and almost uniform.
The other question is after the lapping and polishing, you recommend using Friction Block. Elsewhere you've mentioned Tetra Lube and they seem to be doing the same thing in treating the metal - filling scratches or pores.
