Some New Toys Yesterday
« on: June 22, 2007, 06:18:06 PM »
Man I picked up some new pistols yesterday. One was a Baikal Russian Mak looks brandnew. Even has adj. sights. The other was a Benelli M76 9mm pistol. It also looks brandnew. Just happened to be at the 2 right gun shops at the right time as well as price.

Hello...

I have a Baikal IJ-70 Makarov that I paid $99 for.  I like it alot.  I have few pistols that shoot as accurately as it does.  It has become my primary carry gun.  I don't know if you knew, but the adjustable sights on the IJ-70 have a reputation for flimsy construction.  I have had no problem with mine yet, but in case I do, I bought a set of the fixed sight replacements from Makarov.com in case they fail.

Cheers,
Gary
