« on: June 20, 2007, 02:37:42 PM »
anyone seen these yet? gotta take a look at the website if not. they seem to come in 22-250, 243, 308, and the new 30 TC. they look like a nice gun. I'm just curious if anyone knows if they will be carrying them in left handed model's?

I'm wanting one - badly.  I can't find any mention on their site of an MSRP though.  Anyone know how much these will be selling for?

Only thing to figure out is what to get it in.  I JUST got a .225 Winchester so .22-250 is almost exactly the same.  I've got a .30-06 and .308 is pretty close to that (plus I just find .308 to be about as "boring" a round as has ever existed - I have no idea why :)).  Basically I think it's down to .243 or .30 TC.  .30TC scares me though - a new round always has the possibility of flopping and resulting in a close to useless rifle 20 years from now.

A little birdie told me Bass Pro will have them for $1045. Natchess Shooting Supply has them for $1025.  Rumor has it they are working on a long action and stainless/synthetic versions.  They are supposed to be out next year. No word on leftie model. Rep. at T/C informed me they will begin shipping the end of August/early September. Mine is on order from T/C, and they cashed the check last week. Just wating on the man in the big brown truck to arrive.

I got a steal on mine. I ordered it straight from T/C. Didn't pay the Bass Pro price.

I read an article a while back on them.  Seems like the MSRP was just over $1,000.00.  From everything I saw they look like a very nice rifle.  And their new caliber looks very interesting except the article basically said that the only way you would get the advertised velocity etc... was by buying the Hornady factory ammo . . . which I would guess is a new caliber in their light magnum line.  In fact the article said that the powder was not available to the public.

i am going to order mine from t/c if its around the msrp. i wouldn't pay $1000 for it as it wouldn't hold its value.
