Here's what I can tell you regarding my new 952-2. The performance is fine, the trigger "sweet" @ 3 pounds, the tolerances are "tight" and the overall appearance flawless.

Now, regarding accuracy. I placed it on a bench support and fired at a target 25' down range for sight adjustment. I used the following factory ammuntion and will list them from the most accurate to the least (in my gun, using my poor eye sight). Keep in mind, the rounds hit center bullseye within an 1 1/2" pattern. Not exactly the best from a custom made auto.
1. PMC Bronze 115 gr. FMJ (go figure) most accurate
2. American Eagle 147 gr. FMJ
3. American Eagle 124 gr. FMJ
4. CCI Blazer Brass 115 gr. FMJ
5. WWB 115 gr. FMJ
According to the rep. I spoke to at S&W Performance, he said the guns are set up for 115 grain factory ammo. I will tell you, I have a Walther P99 that can out shoot my 952-2 for close accuracy and it cost $1000.00 less. I think an excellent shooter with near perfect eye sight could make the 952 very accurate.
