Just to let you guys know

Called H&R today checking on my barrels i sent in for a 44mag and 7mm08 on one frame and a 30/30 on another (friends frame) they told me they were making the 44mags the rest were in stock. 4 to 6 weeks is what i was told.

That's good news on the 44mag since Marlin is making their barrels now, hopefully it will be as good as my .444 barrel and 45 Colt carbine that they made. ;) ;) :)

Got a call from H&R today the 44mag barrels are still 1 in 38 twist ordered the 444 barrel instead.

That's cuz SAAMI says that's what it's supposed to be, along with being overbore in the rifle compared to a handgun. :-\
