My son got a 3 month old Brittany last week. A female that will go by the name of Sadie. My 9 yr old Black Lab had been sick for about 3 months, and it was time to start training his replacement.
We then had to put the Lab down this past Saturday. A very sad time indeed.
My wife had been lobbying for us to not replace the Lab, but suddenly she seemed to be anxious to have another dog in the house. My son had checked out a couple of litters of Brittanys in the area, and so we went back to one that he did not get his pup out of. Lo and behold we now have a Brittany of our own that goes by the name of (named by my wife, by the way) Hawkins(goes by Hawk). Here's a link to some pics of Hawk.
