Kimber Varmint
« on: May 25, 2007, 01:58:49 PM »
The local shop has a Kimber Varmint 22-250 with rings for $650.00. It has less than a box of shells through it. Is a used Kimber worth the price?

Sounds like a very reasonable deal to me! ;)

I am wondering if it will still be there when you go back.

I'm wondering if there is anything wrong with it.  That gun alone usually sells in the $1k range.  Does the dealer know the previous owner and any info on the gun?

It was purchased to go on a pdog hunt that was canceled due to an accident. The rifle looks brand new and has only a few shells thru it.

My last Kimber I bought was $1200.00 so I don't think I would hesitate to buy it for Remington price. I have two and they are great rifles.
