Several companies make blanks avaiable for these heavy caliber lever guns. Brownells sells the barrel blanks and any good smith should be able to barrel and headspace. There are outfits that specialize in the leverguns and their restoration. Steven Dodd Hughes runs one these and is very, very good at what he does. Not real cheap but here you will get what you pay for. I don't have and email for him but he's in Livingston, Montana. PhoneBook.com should find you a phone number. If all want is to rebarrel a shooter and not a restore, there are many gunsmiths that can do that and probably a bit quicker.. Good luck and just curious but what caliber were you considering... Also did you see the last issue of handloader. There was a mould design developed many years ago for paper patched bullets that allow the mould 'cavity' to be easily made and changed. Allows you to have a mould and just make new cavities for differing bullet diameters! I'll have to make one of those.. Hell maybe I'll start selling them! Oh well, too many projects as it is.. Good luck with the '86
