Hi, it is always so difficult to choose a rifle, but always such fun. From the two that you mentioned I would go for the CZ550. You will certainly not lose out in accuracy to the Remington, CZ's are notoriously accurate. The CZ would get my nod for the trigger. The 550 has a set trigger which is, in my opinion, fantastic. You have your standard adjustable trigger, plus the option of the set trigger which is delightfully light. The overall quality of the CZ is better than Remington as well, I was going to get a Remington 700 in 243 but after comparing the quality, the CZ won hands down. My CZ arrived without the scope rings, 1 phone call and 3 days later the rings were in my hand. So quality of rifle, customer service are faultless. My only gripe is that the CZ has the dovetail instead of Weaver type base for the scope. This is a minor quibble and there are plenty of aftermarket rings for the CZ. I wouldn't rule out Tikka or Savage if I was you, similar prices and also great rifles.
