From the BF Study forum;
A perusal of many of the so-called BF websites illustrates that many of these BF "researchers" are so gullible (kool-aid drinkers) that they could not "find" a BF even if a herd of 1,000 ran smack over them.
Case in point, our friend Bullet Maker is parading a photo titled "BF Crossing a Creek" on one such website. IMO, this is an outright deception on his part.
The picture was taken on one of my gamecams (summer, 2002) on COE land in Spencer creek. We (BM, DG, WW, Brian, Todd & me) had all agreed (after careful evaluation including reference of the photo scene post-pic day) it was NOT a BF but a combination of rootwad, sticks and other debris that gave the "appearance" of a BF. Further, the "ghostly image" BM has postulated as that of the (image of) rapid exit of a BF is nothing more than humidity/mist from the water in the creek. I have the original photo/negatives and long ago thought this was a moot point by all concerned especially after I had a professional (30+ yrs.) photographer examine them.
Give me a break!
With the epidemic of wannabe true believers, outright morons and charlatan/hustlers that feed upon them it is NO WONDER that BF remains a mystery to this day.
Government cover-up? HA! HA! With this army of clowns doing the job they're facilitating no wonder the mainstream public thinks they're looney! Sad fact is, many apparently are.
Now, before anyone gets on the "Let's defend poor 'ol BM bandwagon" I have been told by people (that have been "researching" on his property in the past six months) that he is selling "BF hunts" wherein promising a "shot" at a BF from one of his tower stands located there and using threads (such as the above described one) on various websites to promote them.
One of these "hunts" has allegedly been held with sporadic gunfire reported by the BF researchers (located on another part of the property) throughout the night. No self-respecting BF is gonna hang around a place where WWIII is going on.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what's really happening with the "seeding" of various websites with these type threads and bolstering them with the claim there is ongoing BF activity by having BF researchers continually working the property. Do you reckon they really know they're being played like a cheap fiddle or worked like rented mules?
