Here is my almost complete M98.







I just got it back from getting parkerized and still have to apply the Gun-Kote and then it will be finished. As of right now it has a new;

Fluted barrel
Stock
Trigger
Bolt handle
Safety
Speedlock firing pin and spring
Hinged bottom metal
Magazine spring and follower

Come to think of it, about the only thing that isn't new is the receiver and bolt. Oh yeah, almost forgot, I kept it the original caliber 8x57.

What bottom metal did  you use?  What color of gun-kote are you doing?

The bottom metal is from Numrich and I plan to use matt black Gun-kote.

I haven't had the chance to get to the range yet because of poor weather but I hope to get there this weekend if the rain and wind go away. I'll report back after I finally do get to shoot it.
